1/4 cup Liquid Castile Soap.
5 drops of tea tree oil.
5 drops of lavender oil.
1 cup of purified or distilled water.

Castile soap is highly concentrated, so only use a few drops for each purpose. So if you buy a 200 ml bottle of liquid castile soap you can make atleast 4 to 5 200ml bottles of facewash. That makes very cost effective.

For making this DIY facewash we are making use of 2 more ingredients. They are tea tree oil and lavender oil which are very effective for the skin health. Tea tree oil is an amazing ingredient which helps in fighting acne .Lavender oil has strong antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, and also very effective for dry skin. As this is an essential oil it gives relief from stress and provides relaxation.


To make this face wash take a clean pump(spray) bottle. Add 50ml(1/4 th cup ) of catile soap, 5 drops of tea tree oil, 5 drops of lavender oil and 1 cup of distilled or purified water. Mix everything and gently stir or shake.

You are ready to go. It has a rich lather and after wash you feel not only clean but leaves your skin so soft.
